The log bunk bed by Montana Woodworks is a classic of design and build. Skilled craftsmen patiently skip-peel the posts and spindles by hand using old-fashioned draw knives. Careful assembly by hand ensures the bed will last a lifetime. Mortise and tenon joinery throughout. For safety reasons, the upper and lower bunks cannot be separated. The headroom between the lower and upper bunks is approximately 44". The Headboard and footboard feature a built-in ladder. Maximum mattress thickness for the top bunk is 8".
